TraceWall privacy policy
This privacy policy explains how TraceWall handles local firewall rules, local traffic logs, the iOS VPN configuration, HTTP and HTTPS proxy metadata, import and export, and support contact data.
Overview
TraceWall is an iPhone and iPad app published by Moryxo. The app is designed as a local web firewall, traffic decision log, and developer host switcher.
TraceWall does not require a user account, login, subscription, or Moryxo cloud service. Firewall rules, host mappings, settings, and logs are stored locally on the user's device unless the user chooses to export or share them.
iOS VPN configuration
TraceWall uses the iOS VPN configuration system so supported HTTP and HTTPS web traffic can be routed through a local on-device proxy inside the app's Network Extension. This VPN configuration is used for local traffic control and developer testing. TraceWall is not a remote VPN service and does not provide anonymous browsing infrastructure.
Local traffic logs
TraceWall may store destination domain names, destination IP addresses when available, destination ports, timestamps, allow or block decisions, rule match reasons, host switcher routing actions, and technical status messages needed to troubleshoot the local proxy.
HTTPS content
TraceWall does not decrypt HTTPS content. It does not read passwords, page content, forms, private messages, uploaded files, downloaded files, or the full body of HTTPS websites.
Import and export
TraceWall can export rules, host mappings, and settings as a JSON file when the user chooses to do so. If the user shares the exported file with another person, app, service, or storage provider, that third party may be able to read the exported configuration.
Advertising and analytics
The current TraceWall app is designed without advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking SDKs.
