Lantern RTSP Cam privacy policy
This privacy policy explains how Lantern RTSP Cam handles camera access, local RTSP settings, notifications, and advertising through Google AdMob.
Overview
Lantern RTSP Cam is an iPhone app published by Moryxo. The app can work as an RTSP server for the iPhone camera and as an RTSP client for compatible H.264 RTSP streams.
The app is designed to work without user accounts and without a Moryxo cloud relay. RTSP connections depend on the user's own device, local network, camera configuration, and compatible RTSP clients or servers.
Camera access
The app requests Camera permission so it can show a live preview and publish the iPhone camera as a local RTSP H.264 stream in server mode. Camera video is processed on the device for the purpose of the local RTSP stream. Moryxo does not receive, store, or host the camera video through this app.
Local network access
The app requests Local Network permission so other compatible devices on the same reachable network can connect to the RTSP server, and so the app can connect to RTSP cameras or streams entered by the user.
Saved cameras and credentials
When you save an RTSP camera entry, the camera name, host, port, path, and username may be stored locally on the iPhone. Camera passwords and optional RTSP server passwords are stored using the iPhone Keychain.
Advertising
Lantern RTSP Cam uses Google AdMob to display ads. Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect information such as IP address, device identifiers, advertising data, app interaction data, performance data, and diagnostics depending on device settings, consent choices, SDK behavior, and applicable law.
