GuardFrame CCTV privacy policy

This privacy policy explains how GuardFrame CCTV handles saved cameras, RTSP credentials, recordings, GuardFrame Cloud, account deletion, and advertising through Google AdMob.

Overview

GuardFrame CCTV is an iPhone and iPad app published by Moryxo. The app is designed for monitoring compatible RTSP/H.264 cameras, recording camera streams, and optionally using GuardFrame Cloud for recording and camera synchronization workflows.

Users are responsible for adding only cameras, streams, networks, and cloud content they own, manage, or have permission to access.

Saved cameras and RTSP URLs

When you add a camera, the app may store the camera name, stream protocol, host, port, path, query, and optional username on the device. These values are used to reconnect to the camera and show it in the CCTV Wall.

Camera passwords and Keychain storage

Camera passwords are stored using the iOS Keychain. They are not embedded into the visible RTSP URL shown in the app.

Live viewing and local recording

Live camera streams are opened from the RTSP URLs you provide. Local recordings are saved on the device until you delete them, share them, or upload them to GuardFrame Cloud using app features.

GuardFrame Cloud account

GuardFrame Cloud is optional. If you create an account or sign in, the app may communicate with the GuardFrame Cloud service to authenticate your session, list cloud recordings, upload completed recordings, download recordings, create share links, delete cloud recordings, sync camera entries, and delete your cloud account when requested.

Cloud account information may include your account name, email address, authentication token, storage usage, uploaded recording metadata, recording files, synced camera metadata, and deleted-camera sync markers needed to keep devices consistent.

Cloud account deletion and local reset

The app includes account deletion and local cloud reset actions. Cloud account deletion is intended to remove the cloud account and cloud data associated with that account. Local reset only clears cloud cache, upload badges, and the saved cloud session on the current device; it does not delete local recordings or cloud recordings by itself.

Advertising

GuardFrame CCTV uses Google AdMob to display ads. Google Mobile Ads SDK may process information such as IP address, device identifiers, advertising data, app interaction data, performance data, diagnostics, and approximate location derived from network information depending on device settings, consent choices, SDK behavior, and applicable law.
